Consensual Chaos
Description
Consensual Chaos is a podcast presented by Reo, Mishka and Jim.
The team wanted to represent the notion of stored energy. Something that had the potential to ignite and spark ideas and discussion. They suggested a matchstick as the perfect representation of this idea.
Keeping the color palette minimal and monochrome, we created a stark illustrative style that emphasises the carbon/charcoal feeling of the matchstick, highlighting it in both the new and burnt state, symbolising the changes of state.
There is liberal use of noise and blur across the elements, calling back to ink-bleed effects from paper printing, grounding the brand in a classic journalistic feel, along with the font Artifex which combines a classic serif font with harder, more modern edges.
