Description
Proteus was a prophetic sea god with the ability to tell the future but would hide by changing shape to avoid doing so. The word 'protean' has positive connotations of flexibility, versatility and adaptability.
This richly coloured brand champions the liquid, flowing properties of water, and as all traders know, 'be water my friend'.
The logotype has a thick, flowing style thanks to the ample curves of PP Writer, while the minimal swirling water logomark, perfectly demonstrates the innate changeability of water. The unbounded top portion represents the wave of Proteus' ocean domain, while the rigid, ‘man-made’ vessel of bottom half represents waters ability to adapt to it’s container.
The mark can even be incorporated into the logotype for a complete package. Additional elements include a rich blue aura gradient for adding texture and interest to larger spaces.
